Run for Theron
Run for Theron is a memorial 5K and 1-mile run raising outreach funds and scholarship dollars for the Theron Rogerson Scholarship at Granville High School. Learn more about the race, the purpose, and how to get involved.
The Theron Rogerson Scholarship
The Theron Rogerson Scholarship is awarded each year to a graduating senior boy who will pursue post secondary education. The recipient should be a person, like Theron, who has a strong work ethic and is encouraging and supportive to his teammates. Theron was a 2021 graduate of Granville High School, and he was a wonderful son, brother, and friend to many. He brought joy and laughter to us throughout his life and we want his memory to be a blessing, so that others are aware of suicide risks and prevention.

Theron Rogerson was a cherished Granville student athlete whose bright light continues to shine in our hearts. In remembrance of Theron's life and in solidarity against the scourge of suicide, we gather here to honor his memory and advocate for mental health awareness and support.
